Centrifugal Pump

It is a high-sanitation pump suitable for transferring food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals without contamination. It is also easy to disassemble and clean.

With its open-impeller design, the pump can efficiently transfer food-grade liquids such as pulpy or seeded fruit juices, syrup, and vegetable oil. It is also suitable for pharmaceutical mixtures, especially liquid medications, as well as cosmetic formulations like creams or clear, low-viscosity liquids.

Features:

  • The pump head is made of stainless steel, available in 304, 316, and 316L grades.
  • Its smooth, polished surface prevents liquid residue, reducing the risk of bacterial growth.
  • The open-impeller design allows efficient transfer of liquids containing solids without clogging.
  • With a high-speed rotation of 2,900 RPM, it delivers a high flow rate and excellent head performance.
  • The extra-thick stainless steel construction allows cleaning with high-temperature hot water and chemical solutions for sterilization.
  • The pump is easy to disassemble, enabling frequent cleaning as needed.

Can be installed in multiple configurations.

Ferrule Connection – Designed for food-grade applications, it allows easy installation and removal.
Pros: Quick assembly and disassembly.
Cons: Prone to leakage if the seal is not properly fitted.

Threaded (Screw) Connection – Used for general pipeline systems.
Pros: Easy to find compatible fittings.
Cons: More difficult to disassemble, making frequent cleaning less convenient.

Union Connection – Ideal for applications requiring secure pipe assembly while allowing easy disassembly.
Pros: Easy to remove and clean, ensuring hygiene and frequent maintenance.
Cons: Frequent disassembly may cause wear and tear on the union threads.

Pump Selection

  • Required flow rate
  • Desired delivery height
  • Type of liquid to be pumped

Maintenance

It is very easy to maintain the pump. After each use, it should be disassembled for cleaning. If disassembly is not possible, sterilization can be done using hot water or steam.

Ensure that liquid flows into the pump before operation. Running the pump dry should be avoided, as it can cause damage to the pump and mechanical seal.

The electrical system supplying the pump should be checked regularly. If the pump is drawing excessive current, it should be inspected immediately, as foreign objects inside the pump may cause severe damage.

If possible, additional safety systems should be installed, such as:

  • Safety valve – Prevents damage to the pipeline if the discharge valve is accidentally left closed.
  • Run dry protection – Prevents the pump from operating without liquid.
  • Strainer – Prevents debris from entering and damaging the pump.
