What is ?

A diaphragm pump, also known as an AODD pump (Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pump), is a pump designed for transferring all types of liquids using air as its driving force. Diaphragm pumps are capable of handling a wide variety of liquids.

The reason why the pump can be used with all types of liquids is that it is available in a variety of materials, including:

    • Polypropylene (PP): Suitable for non-corrosive chemicals such as chemicals used in water treatment systems, including hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, liquid chlorine, alum, lime, and polymers. It is also suitable for chemicals in production processes such as glue, water-based paint, and printing ink.

      Teflon (PVDF): Ideal for highly corrosive chemicals and high-temperature liquids, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, acid for gold soldering, and liquids with temperatures exceeding 100°C.

      Aluminum: Suitable for oils, paints, wastewater, sludge for dewatering systems, and chemicals in dissolving systems, such as solvents, thinners, alcohols, and various fuels, including gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and lubricants like hydraulic oil and engine oil.

      Stainless Steel 304: Suitable for high-temperature liquids, food, or food-related mixtures, such as syrup, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid, and liquids with sediment.

      Stainless Steel 316: Suitable for food or chemical applications, including chicken dipping sauce, suki sauce, consumer-related liquids like dishwashing liquid and fabric softener, and chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide.

Reasons to Use a Diaphragm Pump

  • Self-priming pump: It does not require priming and can operate even when installed vertically, with a suction depth of up to 4 meters.
